Trekking in Nepal with different routes is far away from the highways. One should go through narrow trails. As the trekking routes in Nepal have been categorized by the government, Trekking permit is compulsory to any foreign trekkers. It has recently been declared that the permit for Everest, Langtang and Annapurna is free but still we should pay for the National Park, Conservation Area Fees. One can pay in Immigration offices in Kathmandu and Pokhara. If you would confirm your trip and pay in advance from Himkala Adventure Pvt. Ltd., we proceed for all these things. Two photographs and a copy of your passport are required along with the application.
Trekkers are advised to know the fees to get Permit for different trekking routes, are as follows:
Trekking Permit Fees:
Lower Dolpo, Kanchanjungha,Gaurishankar, Lamabagar:
Equivalentto US $ 10 per person per week
Manaslu:
US $ 50 (Dec – Aug) per person per week and US $ 7 for each extra day
US$ 70 (Sep – Nov) per person per week and US $ 10 for each extra day
Humla – Simikot – Yari:
US $ 50 per person per week for 7 days and US $ 7 per person per extra day
Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpo:
US $ 500 per person for the first ten days and US $ 50 per person per day there after
Chekampar and Chunchet of Gorkha District:
(Sirdibas – Lhokpa – Chumling – Chekampar – Nile – Chule)
• US $35 (Sep – Nov) per person for 8 days
• US $ 25 (Dec – Aug) per person for 8 days
Trekking through National Park areas, ENTRY PERMITS are required. The ENTRANCE PERMIT fees are under noted for the following National Parks and Conservation Areas.

Shivapuri Conservation Area:
Rs. 500.00 per person
Rara National Park:
Rs. 1000.00 per person
Shey Phoksundo National Park:
Rs. 1000.00 per person
Chitwan National Park:
Rs. 1000.00 per person
Bardia National Park:
Rs.1000.00 per person
