Osho Tapoban: Located at the outskirts of Kathmandu valley on the way to Kakani amidst the Nagarjuna forest, Osho Tapoban is a meditation center that welcomes everyone from beginner to advanced meditator. It is an international commune and retreat center where different types of meditation camps, workshops, and special celebrations related to Buddha are conducted. Hundreds of locals travel here daily to gain peace of mind.
Kakani: From Kakani we can see the majestic Himalayan peaks stretching from Ganesh Himal and Annapurna to Dhaulagiri. It is 24 km. far from Kathmandu. It takes an hour to be there if we are not in a rush. Kakani is the quieter, more peaceful cousin of Dhulikhel and Nagarkot and is home to a memorial park to the victims of Thai Airways International Flight 311. Strawberry farming is a notable industry here and we will get the chance to view fields of strawberry crops.
